Ground Loops is a series of sonic explorations from NYC-based multidisciplinary artists Maxwell Neely-Cohen and Jessie Char, featuring dance, music, electronics, sculpture, and software. Each of the three distinct experiments (taking place September 21, October 19, and November 14) is intended for cross-disciplinary collaboration and exchange with community. 

A collaboration with slowdanger, Noise Floor is an experimental dance installation that utilizes microphones to modify synthesizers, allowing movement artists to create their own scores live. The sonic vibrations of steps on a floor, and even limbs moving through air, create their own harmonies and dissonances. 

Visitors are welcome to engage with the installation at any point in its duration as a self-directed experience.
